First Impressions: Dagne Dover Landon Duffel
Over the last few months I have seen a lot of people I follow on Instagram showing products from Dagne Dover, which is a brand that makes all different kinds of bags - they have backpacks, purses, makeup bags, totes, duffels, etc.
I was immediately attracted to the Landon Duffel in the Dune color, which is kind of a cross between a sandy nude and a rosy pink. I decided to order one to check it out, since they have free return shipping if you don’t like it. I picked the medium size, figuring that it would be perfect for a travel bag (when travel happens regularly again!).
The bag can go from a barrel-style duffel to an east-west tote bag by undoing the snaps on the sides. On the backside, there is a slip pocket for your phone or a small wallet to be easily accessible and a sleeve to put it over the handle of a rolling carry-on suitcase.
It is made of high-quality neoprene so you don’t have to worry about it getting dirty or wet because it’s easy to clean and water resistant. The handles have a soft silicone tab holder to hold them together. It also comes with an easily adjustable cross body strap.
Another feature I love is that the inside has a water bottle holder as well as a velcro tech pouch, perfect for a small laptop (my 13 inch MacBook Air fits with room to spare) and/or an iPad. Each bag comes with a mesh detachable pouch that is attached to the inside key ring holder. The medium size comes with a shoe bag as well (it doesn’t have to be used for shoes - you could put a change of clothes, dirty clothes, or even snacks in there!)
The Medium Landon Duffel retails for $155 with free shipping. I ordered mine on a Saturday and received it the following Wednesday.
There are discounts to be had - you can find someone with a referral code to save 10%. They also have teacher, military, and healthcare worker discounts so if you fit into any of those categories, make sure to check that out! I was an idiot and paid full price facepalm so don’t be like me!
If you use my referral link, I do get $25 for each person that uses it, so if you are so inclined I would appreciate it!
