April Birchbox
For the month of April, Birchbox partnered with Rifle Paper Company to design the boxes and some exclusive Birchbox plus items in Rifle Paper Company's signature floral pattern.
I personally love Rifle Paper Co.'s patterns and designs. Birchbox has stocked a ton of different products from them on their website. I already have some of it in my cart for the next time I place an order!
In my box:
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Brightening Illuminator
What: This velvety highlighter leaves skin radiant with a subtle, slightly shimmery glow.
How: Dab onto brow bones, cheekbones, nose, or anywhere you'd like to accent, and blend well.
Fekkai Pre-Soleil Hair Mist
What: Weightless spray that adds shine, controls frizz, and safeguards hair from UV rays.
How: Think of this as sunscreen for your hair; Spritz on generously before sun exposure.
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain
What: This multitasking, long-lasting color adjusts to your skin for a natural, customized shade.
How: Glide onto lips. Dab onto cheeks and blend well.
Temple Spa Peace Be Still Calming Face & Body Balm
What: Part skincare, part aromatherapy, this lush cream nourishes the skin and calms the mind.
How: Smooth this botanical-based formula onto body, face, or hands, and enjoy the soothing scent.
WEI Manuka Bee Venom Mask
What: This treatment firms, softens, and minimizes fine lines, with a warm tingle as it works.
How: Brush mask onto clean face, avoiding eyes, 1-2 times weekly. Wait 10 minutes, then rinse.
I'm looking forward to everything except the Cynthia Rowley illuminator, since I hardly ever use anything like that on my face (thank you, sensitive skin!) since a lot of makeup makes me break out. The Temple Spa lotion smells so nice and I think it will be the perfect lotion for summer, since it has citrus notes to it. I'm very interested in using the Fekkai hair mist, since my hair is color-treated and tends to fade when I'm out in the sun a lot.
Part of me is nervous about trying the bee venom mask since it came with a disclaimer that anyone allergic to bees or bee stings should not use it, and although I'm not allergic to bees, I'm allergic to so many nature-y things that I'm not sure if I want to chance it.
