What I’m Loving - April
Spring is making itself known here in Wisconsin and with the somewhat regular warm days, I am so looking forward to this summer! B and I are just a few weeks away from our Colorado road trip (keep a look out for prep posts leading up to it and travel posts if I’m able to get them up while we travel) and very much looking forward to it.
Watching:
This Is A Robbery is an investigative docu-series about the art robbery of the Isabella Stewart Gardner art museum in Boston, Massachusetts. This is, to date, the largest art heist in the world and the works have never been recovered. The series is great and talks about the Irish and Italian mafia, the IRA, dynamics of Boston in the 90s, and has plenty of those great Bahstahn accents.
Wearing:
In honor of Nurse’s Week coming up at the beginning of May, Artery Ink (a local company that makes anatomical-inspired designs on clothing and paper) released a new “Nurse” design so of course I had to pick it up. There is also a corresponding sticker, perfect for notebooks, water bottles, or thermoses. The shirts are so soft and available in XS-3XL.
Artery Ink has tons of beautifully designed items that are wonderfully made - I have many of their t shirts, tanks, and sweatshirts. They’re also perfect gifts for the healthcare worker in your life ;)
Listening:
As I was perusing Apple Music the other day before going into work, I found a whole list of covers that New Found Glory did and King of Wishful Thinking by Go West was on there so of course I had to download it. New Found Glory was a band I listened to a TON when I was a freshman/sophomore in high school and listening to any of their music immediately transports me back to that time. I’ve been jamming out to a lot of my favorite jams from that time in my life, especially in the car.
