What I'm Loving This Week
For those of you who also live in the Midwest, you know that Fall hit us like a ton of bricks. We went from 80's to 50's in the same week, although since this is Wisconsin it's not like that's unusual.
I've already got all my fall decorations out and two big mum plants on the porch, so bring on October!
Here's a few things I loved this week!
I've been using two different planners for the past month - I have a small Louis Vuitton MM ringbound agenda (vintage and bought pre-loved, never buy any of their stuff retail) that I keep in my purse and the Concept to Creation Planner that was created by Katie Duke, a badass ACNP in NYC who was on NY Med when she was an Emergency Room Nurse and Nicole Thomas, RN MSN and c-founder of The Nurse Power Network.
It's an undated month-at-a-glance planner that has 16 months in it plus tons of brainstorming pages. I really like it so far, especially for my work schedule/meetings and organizing all my school stuff. A more in-depth post about this planner is coming soon, after I've gotten a few more months of use out of it.
Planner can be found here.
Pencil pouch is from Amazon*.
I have been watching Whitney Simmons on YouTube for the past year or so. She is a fitness YouTuber and Instagrammer that is really inspirational and aspirational. She recently collaborated with GymShark, which is an awesome workout apparel brand based in the UK. I managed to snatch a few pieces from the collaboration (although I think they are planning on restocking soon). Items are true to size - I wear an XS in all my GymShark gear.
I picked up her Whitney Leggings in Black and the Whitney Sports Bra in Deep Sage Green and Hot Fire Pink.
When I'm awake all night long, I love find new people on YouTube to watch. Holley came up as a suggested channel and I have been bingeing her videos. She's a med surg nurse in Iowa who shares nurse stuff as well as lifestyle and vlogging. She's also really into fitness and since I'm over here trying to get myself back in the fitness game, I'm loving her videos as inspiration.
Check out her Instagram too!
