What I'm Loving This Week

This week was rough. I had 5 straight nights of work, which I haven't done in quite some time. And if you've ever been in the ER as an employee or a patient, you know there's never a dull moment. 

B is heading off for a boys weekend for his birthday so I'll be home with Arthur all weekend, hopefully going to get some more miles in for my Lakefront Marathon training! I'll be posting lots of updated on my training on Instagram --> make sure to follow me!


Here's a few things I've loved this week.


With Game of Thrones ending, I decided that there is a lot left out from the books for the sake of time on the show. I made the decision to start reading/listening to the books and I started the first book this week. I also downloaded it on Audible so I can listen to it while I'm training.

In an effort to try to motivate myself to start marathon training, I decided to declutter my older endurance packs and get a new one - the biggest reason is because my iPhone XS Max didn't fit into the front pocket of my old ones. If you are a follower of politics and want to watch some amazing, strong, kickass women try to change the United States, check out the Netflix documentary Knock Down The House. It follows mainly Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (or AOC as she is known on the internet) but also other women that were running in various states as part of the Brand New Congress.
