How I Read On The Go

As someone who has always been an avid reader, I love to carry a book with me at all times. Ever since graduating from nursing school and working full time, I look for ways other than reading a physical book to get my reading fix in.
I started using Audible in 2016 when I started training for my marathon and ultra marathon. Those long training miles both on the road, trail, and treadmill can sometimes get tedious and there comes a point where I need more mental stimulation than what just music or a podcast can give me. I got a promo for two free books and a 30 day trial, but after starting I was hooked!
I bounce back and forth between several books, some of which I have either in a hard copy or on Kindle. Something else that is cool - if you buy the Kindle version of the book, you can get the Audible version for less and vice versa.
For those of you who are not able to sit down and physically hold a book and read, this is a great option. You can listen while driving, cooking, cleaning, running, working out, etc.
By signing up here, you can get two free Audible books, which range from $10-$30 depending on title and length.
Some titles I recommend:
Harry Potter series - narrated by Jim Dale
The All Souls Trilogy - narrated by Jennifer Ikeda
Becoming - narrated by Michelle Obama
The Throne of Glass series - narrated by Elizabeth Evans
A History of Magic - narrated by Natalie Dormer
Choosing the Simply Luxurious Life - narrated by Shannon Ables
Happy Listening!
