Weekend Recap

Hey all! It's been a hot minute since I've done one of these posts. It's been an adjustment going from 10-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts and I'm at work 90% of my life. I also just found out a week or so ago that I'm going to be allowed to cross-train to the emergency room so that starts the week after Thanksgiving.

Here's some things that I've been up to lately.

YHIM Nurse Blend and Clary Calm.

I've started to integrate the use of essential oils into my life. I follow Kelsey Rowell of YourHeartIsMineRN and invested in some oils from doTERRA. The two pictured (one I made, the other is from doTERRA) are the ones I take to work every shift to help me get through those 12 hours.

BibRave Pro Secret Santa gift.

Every year, the BibRave Pros take part in a secret santa gift exchange and I received mine last week. I am now fully stocked with all the delicious Tailwind flavors and a Foot Note from Momentum Jewelry to put on my HOKAs.

Hogwarts is my home.

Alex and Ani came out with a whole line of Harry Potter-themed jewelry. I picked up the Hogwarts crest necklace and the Harry earrings, one a pair of glasses and the other is a lightning bolt. They also just added some new pieces, so if you are a Potterhead, make sure you check it out.

Birds of a feather flock together.

The ladies of #oiselleWI hit up one of those art and wine studios last week to paint feathers. I'm obviously not an artist, but it was so much fun to be with my dear running friends and enjoy some wine while attempting to make art. :)

Odesza - probably not enough lights. ;)

B's company has been working with Odesza on their current tour, so we had the opportunity to go see the show while they were in Madison on Friday night. I've heard some of their music in passing, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. They are very much performance artists, not just a musical act. The show was amazing and there was so much in addition to the music. I would strongly suggest going to see them if they are coming to a city near you.

Arthur and his blankets.

Arthur has been enjoying having me home during the day and is becoming more and more snuggly. In the spring, he will be doing more races with me (a local race company, XC Thrillogy, does a Canine XC series that we will be participating more with) but for now, he's content being snuggled up in his bed.

Hope you all have a great week!
