February Sephora PLAY! Box
The theme for February was "Smitten: The Soft Side" and had products that are "low-key lovely".
In my box:
Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer
A light-weight, oil-free moisturizer-meets-primer instantly blurs imperfections while providing all-day hydration for easily, soft-focus finish.
Sephora Collection Lashcraft Length &Volume Mascara
A jet-black volumizing mascara with an innovative flat paddle-shaped wand to lengthen and lift lashes.
NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Bound
A nice-pink, stay-all-day liquid lipstick that applies easily and leaves a semi-matte finish with a silky feel.
Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in Milkshake
Sheer tinted gloss uses a botanical-infused formula ti visibly plump lips while also hydration and softening over time.
Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence
Effervescent, floral, and bright, this sparkling, champagne-doused scent is the embodiment of luxury and glamour.
Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream
A luminous eye cream infused with coffee beans, ginseng, and magnolia extract to visibly brighten and depuff the undereye area.
Out of all the products in this box, there's only two that I won't be using - the mascara (oily skin means I need waterproof formulas) and the perfume (just not my kind of scent).
I've tried out other NARS lip products and am always impressed with the color payoff. This product is no exception. Bound is a kind of mauve-y, slightly lilac tone of pink. I'm interested to see if it's a color I can pull off with my pale-as-a-ghost skin tone.
Receiving the Origins eye cream came at a perfect time, since I JUST ran out of my Kiehl's All-Night Recovery eye cream. I've been putting this on before I go to work to cover up my dark circles (#nightshiftlife) and it has a slightly pearlescent sheen that helps me to look awake, even if I don't feel awake.
I'm excited to give all the other products a try!
