October Birchbox - Power Pose
For the month of October, Birchbox partnered with Estee Lauder Companies to offer two different pink-themed boxes featuring their specific products that give back to breast cancer research. Birch box is committed to donating $104,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund 1 year of lab research to find a cure.
I love that they chose BCRF instead of Susan G. Komen. Not going to go into it here, but I have very negative feelings towards SGK.

I chose the "Power Pose" box of the two pink-themed boxes offered.
Instead of these two boxes, you could chose from the sample choice of the month instead, which was a variety of different mascaras. Sorry, Birchbox, but I can only wear waterproof mascara and you guys never offer that!
In my box:
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color Balm - Mega Melon
Nourishing tinted lip balm, packed with mango and shea butters to hydrate lips.
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
Lightweight and oil-free cream-gel that soothes, cools, and plumps skin for around-the-clock hydration.
Darphin STIMULSKIN PLUS Multi-Corrective Divine Cream
From the renowned French skincare brand, a luxurious formula that softens lines, firms, and brightens.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Synchronized Complex II
Super-potent overnight seem that uses ChronoluxCB Technology to dramatically reduce all signs of aging.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Worn alone or under foundation, this best-selling oil-free formula creates a flawless, velvety-smooth finish.
All boxes also came with a pink ribbon pin to wear.
I chose this box because I love both Clinique and Estee Lauder products. I've tried the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair skin serum and I loved what it did for my skin; it's just really expensive! Before I saw a dermatologist, I used the Clinique 3-step skincare system and it worked for me for awhile, until my cystic acne decided NOPE! I've been switching up my skincare again so I'll be moving the Moisture Surge into my rotation.
I'd never heard of Darphin before so I went to the Birchbox website to see what they had to say about it. This cream, full-size, is $295! What's in there, crushed diamonds?! Reviews indicate that most users love it but wouldn't buy the full-size, so I'm anxious to try it out!
Birchbox is a monthly subscription service that puts 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (plus extras!) in your mailbox for just $10 per month!
