Weekend Recap & Monday Target Haul

I always feel like my weekend recap when I have worked the weekend is pretty boring. After all, there are only so many selfies of myself wearing neon work t-shirts I can post before that becomes redundant and boring.

So today, I share with you the smorgasbord of food I take with me when I'm working 24 hours out of the 48 hour weekend.

I packed (in a small lululemon shopper bag):
  • one pack of almonds, cashews, and cranberries trek mix (from Trader Joe's)
  • Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew KIND bar
  • Goldfish crackers
  • (Boosted) Naked Juice in Green Machine
  • LUNA Fiber Bar in Strawberry Peanut Butter
  • Starbucks Raspberry Pomegranate Refresher
  • Oikos Honey greek yogurt
  • salad with organic spinach, quartered grape tomatoes, edamame, fresh mozzarella balls, and light raspberry vinaigrette
  • a handful of organic baby carrots and a small pack of ranch
And yes, I ate most of it in the course of my two 12-hour shifts. On Sunday I also brought cut up red, green, yellow, and orange bell peppers and ranch. I'm trying very hard to incorporate more fresh veggies into my regular food intake. (I hate saying "into my diet" because I'm not on a diet, I'm merely taking steps towards a healthier lifestyle.)

Then Monday rolled around and I slept until 11:30 AM (whoops) which is why this post is going up at 9:00 at night. So what better way to spend a Monday off than to go check out Target? This isn't all that I bought, because I did NEED some things (Windex wipes, Shout color catchers, and Easter candy so I can start making B's Easter basket) but then I walked through The One Spot section and...this happened.

How could I pass up all the cute notepads and sticky notes?! AND THEY'RE ONLY A DOLLAR! As I was walking around, I spotted a bunch of Post-It products on clearance so I picked up a few that I use a lot for school and a stapler for my desk at home. And why wouldn't I need miniature hot pink sparkly clothespins, pink striped paper straws, and princess pencils? There is no reason.

Is it me or is some of Target's clothing actually CUTE? I picked up a few plain shirts (the middle and right shirt are crew necks and the one on the left is a V-neck) and they were only $8-9 apiece. Plus I had a Target coupon for $3 off a clothing purchase of $20+. Win win!

I hope all of you had a lovely weekend and a great Monday!
