Fall Weekend Shenanigans!
Oh hi there, Monday. Fancy seeing you here.
I feel like this weekend was a great balance of going out and having fun and staying home to relax. While I was dealing with a cold (that after three weeks of being almost sick finally decided to fully rear its ugly head) and opted out of some weekend festivities, I did join B and some of our friends at a local apple orchard to pick apples and pumpkins.
The Elegant Farmer's store is inside this big giant yellow barn with a smiley face on the side. Because that's just how we like our livestock structures here in Wisconsin...smiley.
Our friends' little girl couldn't reach some of the apples, so B had to give her a hand.
This cookie has orange chocolate frosting on it. I may or may not have eaten it for dinner on Saturday.
We are ridiculously attractive. Hashtag not really.
In addition to the apples and pumpkin we picked and the apple pie, we also grabbed a loaf of pumpkin bread, some apple cinnamon granola, and english toffee popcorn. All delicious, yummy fall treats. And I was starving when I walked through the gift shop.
I finally got around to putting out a few fall-ish decorations in the living room: fall bouquet from Trader Joe's (in a mason jar, naturally), an Autumn Day Bath and Body Works candle, and some small white pumpkins (also from Trader Joe's).
Now the only fall-related things left are to rake up all the leaves in the yard and carve our pumpkin!
I'm linking up with Sami for Weekend Shenanigans!
