Want It Wednesday: lululemon's The Mat

Last night at my yoga class, my poor 2-year old used and abused yoga mat had its last practice. Not only is it beyond dirty (I like to think of all those sweat marks as a point of pride, since I sweat my butt off in yoga and its not even Bikram!) but it had a bunch of little tears that ended up becoming one bigger tear.

So my lululemon Align Mat has been laid to rest.

Of course, that meant I could take the plunge and finally invest in lululemon's The Mat. I've had my eye on it since I bought my Align Mat, but at the time the $68 price tag scared me away. Well, I've now gone through a crappy Target brand yoga mat (I think it was about $25) and then my Align Mat was $28, so I could have almost paid for The Mat with those two combined.

This mat is 5mm thick and weighs almost 6 lbs but is completely worth the effort to haul it back and forth to yoga class. I bought it in a magenta-pinky color that I cannot recall the name. 

The website only has love red and black, but most lululemon stores have a bunch of colors in stock.
