Friday Love List

And hello again! I did not mean to take a hiatus from this blog for oh, a month and a half, but school got very overwhelming the weeks before finals but I'm back!

I also feel terrible that I missed the giveaway I wanted to do for my birthday. Since I already have all the products I was going to use, I will be organizing a giveaway in the next two weeks. We have a wedding next weekend that B is standing up in, so it probably won't be until the week after that.

So I ended the semester passing all my classes with an A in Nursing Fundamentals, an A- in my clinical, a B in Pharmacology, and a C+ in Nursing Skills. I passed all my classes and my HESI exam. So I cannot even express how happy I was at 12:00 last thursday when I could finally START MY SUMMER! Although I started my summer working Friday thru Sunday (an 8 and then two 12-hour days, because I know how to party).
Monday was enjoyable as we celebrated B's birthday. It was more low key than last year, but he liked it. I did a lot of cleaning the last three days since I hadn't really done hardly any cleaning or laundry for the two weeks before finals.
Thursday I met my school BFF, Sarah, and we went down to Bradford Beach (which was 20 degrees colder than the temp back at my house!) and then went to Alterra for an avocado BLT and a smoothie. It was nice to get some sun before it got super cloudy and I got a little bit of color on my skin! (Also I need to show you all my new swimsuits...that I bought two mondays ago when I thought I was going to have to repeat my Nursing Skills class.)

Here's a few things I loved this week.

I picked this up at Target the other day and it tastes AMAZING! I think it tastes like a marshmallow. It's super hydrating and I've been using it at night before I go to bed instead of my Vaseline Intense Lip Therapy.

Ever since my classes ended, Riley has been super clingy and needs to be wherever I am. You can't tell in this picture, but he is literally laying on the whole length of my shin.

B with all of his (homemade) birthday cupcakes. If any of you have a Trader Joe's by you, get their vanilla cake mix and make something with it. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make.

This is me enjoying my cloudy beach day on a beach towel that is twice as big as an oversized beach towel. I will do a "What's in my Beach Bag?" post and show you all. It's MASSIVE.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
