Weekend Shenanigans!

Time to link up with Sami from Sami's Shenanigans for a weekend recap!

My Spring Break started at 19:23 on Friday evening (when I got out of work) and I was very excited to go celebrate my brother's 29th birthday at a soccer bar in Bayview called The Highbury (yes, I said soccer bar, as in they play soccer matches on the weekends). And no, it was not full of soccer hooligans :)

B and his best friend, Kale, actin' a fool in the hooligan bar.

The old as hell birthday boy.

Saturday involved trips to Sam's Club and Target (where I managed to spend less than $100!) and hanging out with some friends in the evening (and eating the most delicious homemade carrot cake EVER!)

Sunday was spent with parts of our respective families. I imbibed quite a bit (a bloody at brunch and several glasses of wine at dinner).

TODAY, however, was the best part of my weekend. Today, my friends, was BREWERS OPENING DAY! I went with my best friend (whose birthday is today!) and we headed to the stadium after having a fabulous breakfast at this awesome little place called The National. We got new Brewers swag, had a margarita, and watched the Brewers get a walk-off win against the Rockies!

New pins and stud earrings (in the retro logo, of course).

Myself and Renee with the Polish Sausage statue.

Some dudes had this giant chair in the bed of their truck and were all "Take your picture in our chair!" And they opened our beers for us. So we were automatically friends. Oh, and even though it looks gorgeous, keep in mind it was a balmy 37 degrees (although my phone said "feels like 23 degrees") and we didn't even wear jackets. Because we are from Wisconsin and baller like that.

Go link up with Sami and share your weekend shenanigans!
