March Birchbox

So I'm a complete flake and I completely forgot to do a post about my March Birchbox that I got oh, two and a half weeks ago! Wake up, Laura!

This months' theme: March Madness

In my box:

MAKE Eyeshadow
This new brand's pretty pigments have serious staying power, and we love that one-third of all sales are donated to charity.

MAKE Face Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30
Pump up your makeup's endurance and protect skin with this two-in-one base and SPF.

Nick Chavez Beverly Hills Color-Saver Sulfate-Free Shampoo
The Hollywood stylist devised this sulfate-free shampoo to enhance the vibrancy of your hue. It's loaded with yummy apple and lemon extracts that boost volume.

Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream
The organic shea butter in this foam-free shaving cream makes for an insanely close shave and leaves skin incredibly soft. We love the exclusive blueberry scent.

**Beauty Extra**
Madewell for Birchbox Emery Board
We teamed up with Madewell to create this adorable mani saver, patterned after a print form their new spring collection.

So, not really all that thrilled with this month's box. The emery board is super cute (and has a sleeve, which I love) and I'm excited to try the shampoo, but I feel pretty "eh" about everything else. The eyeshadow is a matte gray color that I don't think I will ever wear, so I'm going to pass that along with the face primer (super sensitive skin, can't wear a lot of primers) to my makeup adventurous sister-in-law. I do like the way the shaving cream smells and will probably save it for next time we go out of town over the summer, but no way am I paying $20+ for a full-size version. All in all, not my favorite box ever,  but I used the points I got for reviewing these products plus some I had banked to get some more twistband headbands and an Embryolisse full-size moisturizer that I got as a sample and LOVED.

Birchbox is a monthly subscription service that puts 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (plus extras!) in your mailbox for just $10 per month!
