What I’m Loving - March

The end of March brought one year of pandemic living to a close. Who would have thought that we would be vaccinating against a global virus one year later? To be living through this time where science is this advanced is amazing. Hoping you all can get your vaccines soon!

Watching:

As a fan of true crime, I am loving all these documentaries that Netflix is coming out with. I found this one while doing some late night Netflix scrolling. This explores the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who was on vacation (or holiday, as the Brits say) with her family in Portugal in 2007. Law enforcement, the family, and the media are all interviewed to explain the step by step process of looking for her as well as all the blunders that happened. It’s a very interesting case that has never been solved, with Madeleine presumed to be dead. There’s also a lot of information on the related Wiki page.

Reading:

After being in a bit of a reading slump for most of the month, I found this series recommended by a Bookstagrammer I follow and she mentioned that people who love Sarah J Maas’ series would love this one. Female assassins, faeries, magic, and enemies-to-lovers? YES YES YES and YES. I actually found the series available on Kindle Unlimited so I grabbed it from there, but this book is also available in hardcover and paperback.

Wearing:

As I’ve mentioned before, I fell in love with the mountains on the last trip to Denver that B and I made. The sight of the 14-ers in Rocky Mountain National Park was awe-inspiring and my goal is to someday live in that area. I found this necklace on the Made by Mary website and I’ve been wearing it every day since. It is beautifully made and very reasonably priced.
