What I’m Loving - July

I say this every July but holy cow, I feel like time is flying! Since we got back from Colorado in May, there has been so much change! Work has been insanely busy, I became an aunt again, we are helping my in laws move, and now we are finishing up our renovations to our upstairs (pictures to come!). Lots of change going on over here career-wise, which I will be making a post about as well.

I hope your summer has been going great, share what you’re loving in the comments!

Reading:

I’ve been feeling very motived to make some changes in my life (hello 30s, I see you!) and I’ve started reading a lot of personal development books. Jen Sincero has a whole collection of books now and came highly recommended to me so I picked up her first book, You Are A Badass, and started reading it this month. Stay tuned for a full review!

Watching:

When I was growing up, I remember thinking that J. Crew was so cool but also, hella expensive. But I loved then and love now the vibe of their clothing and draw a lot of inspiration from their collections. I’m a little late to the game but I have been watching Stylish with Jenna Lyons on HBO Max and just LOVE her je ne sais quoi regarding fashion, interior decorating, and lifestyle curation. She is very in tune to what she likes as well as what is pleasing to the eye without being run of the mill. It’s a miniseries so not a huge time commitment and Jenna Lyons is very enjoyable to watch and learn from!

Wearing:

Top | Jeans (similar) | Sandals (similar)

I’ve always been one to wear skinny jeans or leggings but one night while I was perusing Poshmark I found some jeans from Hollister in the Vintage Boyfriend style that were only $10. In the past I’ve never had the confidence to wear pants that weren’t tight but I thought hey, for $10 I could give them a try and I love them! My favorite way to wear them is with Birkenstocks and a casual tee.

I’ve linked what I am able to find and similar options in the caption!
