Updated Skincare Regimen

I have been on quite the journey with my skin over the past decade or so. In the past I shared about my struggles with cystic acne and acne scarring. My skin has always been oily which has made finding products that work for my skin but don’t make me look like a grease slick has been challenging to say the least.

A major change I’ve made in the past year is establishing a relationship and regimen with a licensed aesthetician. A friend of mine is the co-owner of IVME in Milwaukee and suggested I make an appointment with Keri, their lead aesthetician (who is also now a SkinCeuticals Master Aesthetician!) I’ve now seen her several times on a regular basis for derma plane facials and one Diamond Glow facial with dermaplane.

Per Keri’s recommendation, I have now (almost) completely switched to skincare products by SkinCeuticals.

IV ME sells Skinceutials there but you can also find them online. Bonus, you can get a Rakuten rebate as well! Usually it’s a minimum of 3% cash back but I’ve placed a few orders when the cash back was up to 10%.

My current regimen is:

Simply Clean Gel

Micro-exfoliating Scrub

Thayer’s Witch Hazel Toner

A.G.E. Eye Complex, although next I’m going to try the Eye Balm

C. E. Ferulic Serum (I got this as a deluxe sample when they had a big promotion last month)

Daily Moisturizer in the morning

Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 before bed

Daily Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen

After suffering from acne for many years and being so frustrated with my oily skin, I am very happy that I have now found a routine and products that really work for my skin.

If you are interested in joining Rakuten, you can use my link and get a $40 bonus!
