What I'm Loving This Week

The first "What I'm Loving" post of 2019! I haven't gotten one of these up since October but I'm working on being more organized with my blog content so that I have some regular posts going up.

Enjoy this week's loves!

I wanted to start journaling but I've been having major writer's block and I just wasn't sure where to start. I've seen this shared on Instagram and in store at PaperSource, so I thought I would give it a try. It takes only a few minutes each day to fill out the short prompts, which are the same every day and include "Today I'm grateful for" "Daily Affirmation", etc. The goal is to fill it out in the morning and again at night to reflect on the day. I've been able to remember to do it almost every day and I'll be curious to go back at the end of the year and read through my responses.

As a book lover, I'm always nervous to toss a book into my bag. I discovered Book Beau on Instagram, which is a small business based out of Texas that sells padded book sleeves that are perfect for protecting those precious paperbacks and hardcovers from getting destroyed. I have probably 10-15 of them now and use them all the time! Book Beau has tons of different sizes and patterns. There are some available on Amazon but there is a larger variety of patterns on the Book Beau website.

Stay tuned, I have a giveaway for a book sleeve coming up this month!

I have become obsessed with Sailing La Vagabonde, a Youtube channel/ website run by an Austrailian  couple (Elayna and Riley). They chronicle their journeys of sailing around the world many times over. It's one of those channels that you start binge watching and suddenly you're 100 episodes in and you want to go buy a catamaran. The production of it is wonderful and they share a lot about sustainable living, living with less, and really appreciating nature and the world around you.

Please share what you are loving in the comments and if you enjoy any of what I shared, let me know!
