What I'm Loving This Week
I'm starting this new feature instead of a Monthly Favorites, since I can never seem to get it together enough to put a post like that together. I'll be sharing what I'm reading, listening to, watching, eating, etc. that has caught my eye/attention!
First up, everything that Shannon Ables, creator of The Simply Luxurious Life, does.
I started listening to her podcast, The Simple Sophisticate, last week and it's been my favorite part of the day, especially when I'm listening in the car to and from work. She presents information in such a great way and is very personable in how she speaks on the podcast. I also ordered her first book* in paperback and the Audible version to read/listen to for the next two days that I have off. I love her sense of je ne sais quoi.
Lauren Fleshman and Roisin Gettigan's Believe Running Journals.
I've used the Believe* and Compete* journals in the past. This year I have taken off of training but will be hitting the pavement (or trail, as it were) for 2019. This coming holiday season there will be a teal version and a white version (white is exclusive to Picky Bars and Believe I Am). I absolutely love these journals as resources and a place to document my training and progress. If you are looking for a great training journal, I highly recommend these!
FIGS Cotton Pajamas.
Sorry for the awkward face, I never know how to take pics like this!
These are amazingly comfy cotton pajamas. I'm not into the whole long sleeved top and shorts combo but these were perfect for hot Wisconsin summer nights! The print is anatomical hearts, drawn heart shapes, and heartbeats. Super cute and perfect for all of us medical professionals :)
If you order through this link* you get 15% off and I get 15% off too!
Planning road trips.
Since B and I will be replacing his car soon, so I've been thinking of all the fun road trips he and I can take with Arthur. I'll be venturing to Seattle for the Tenacious 10 race next April, so we are planning to take two week to road trip out there and back, stopping at historical places and national landmarks along the way.
If you have any recommendations of can't miss places on the route, please let me know in the comments!
What are you loving, reading, and listening to this week?
