My TBR Pile - Summer 2016
Over the last 3 years, every time I bought a book I added it to a pile next to my bed, telling myself that after I graduated I would be able to read for fun to my heart's content. Now that I have all sorts of time, I've been plowing through it!
Currently reading:
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
This is the sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses and so far, I'm enjoying it even more than the first book! Feyre (the main character) is turning into a badass from being kind of a simpering idiot in the first book. I'm about 25% of the way through it and it's taking all I have not to dedicate a full 24 straight hours to devouring this book.
Next up:
The Last Days of Magic by Mark Tompkins
I read several reviews of this book and it hits a lot of what I look for in a book - adult fiction, magic, and as a bonus, Celtic legends.
Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg by Irin Carmon
RBG is one of those ladies that was an unintentional trailblazer and, as a result, total badass and a ball buster.
Marathon Woman by Kathrine Switzer
She was the first woman to finish the Boston Marathon and became a catalyst for change in the sport of running for women. Plus, a friend of mine picked this book up for me and got it signed by her!
Other books in my pile:
It Starts With Food, Aim True, The Nurses
