Hydration is an aspect of running that I think most runners play around with quite a lot. There are lots of options, from packs to bladders to belts to handhelds.

Amphipod came out with the Hydraform Handheld Series - Ergo-Lite Ultra. There is a 16 oz and 20 oz option with lots of fun colors.
Some of the unique features include:
  • ThumbLock sleeve - allows for easy grip without making your hand uncomfortable
  • Large exterior pocket that is sized for XL phones - my iPhone 6S fit perfectly
  • Jett-Squeeze cap allows for easy drinking while you're running
  • The strap is cushioned, adjustable, and washable

My training recently has been focused around preparing Arthur for his first 5K that the Wisconsin Humane Society puts on as a fundraiser. When I run with him, I need to bring more supplies than normal, including poop bags and treats. Those plus a house key, a Picky Bar and my iPhone 6S all fit in the exterior pocket with room to spare. I tested out the 20 oz option and that amount of water worked out perfectly for both him and I for the 5K distance.

Amphipod has tons of different hydration options and I would strongly recommend adding the Ergo-Lite Ultra to any runner's gear. I'm all about gear that is multifunctional and easy to use; this water bottle fits the bill! Bonus, Arthur finds it very easy to drink out of!

Amphipod is sponsoring #BibChat on Tuesday, June 28th at 8 pm CST on Twitter. Join us for an hour of fun and you could win some gear from Amphipod!
