Travel Dreaming

Being done with school (at least until January, when I start my RN-BSN program) frees up a lot of time. Although right now I am still studying for my boards, I can't help but be seduced by the opportunity to travel. 

Traveling is something that has been on the back burner during my pursuit of my degree. We didn't have the time or the money to travel extensively save for a trip here and there. 

Ever since I went to Europe in 2005 (London and Paris) I was instantly dreaming of when I would be able to go back. Two of the most magical cities that I have been to (so far!) and I would have stayed there if given the option. 

Taking the advice of Rick Steves, I've been "putting my travel dreaming into focus" and binge-watching his shows (all the seasons are available on Hulu and a lot of them are on YouTube as well) and watching his series of Travel Talks to get inspiration and information. 

My first order of business besides getting inspiration was to renew my passport. It expired in 2015 and I have to change my name, so I just sent off all my stuff this week. I'm also considering getting one of those Real IDs to replace my Driver's License, since I may need it to fly even within the U.S.

So much to do, so much to see!
