Packing Hydration w/Orange Mud

Orange Mud is an awesome company that makes a wide variety of running gear, some of them things you never knew you needed, like The Wrap, and some super practical, such as the Hydraquiver. There are a few varieties, including the Double Barrel, the VP1, and the VP2.
I picked pink, of course!
The HydraQuiver is made of breathable nylon with silky webbing and spandex pockets to store things you need on your run. In addition to the two shoulder pockets, there is a large zippered compartment behind the water bottle holder that my iPhone 6 and more fits perfectly. It comes with a 10 oz OM water bottle that is quite easy to remove and replace in the holder.

The logo is reflective for additional safety when running at night, not that anyone could miss the hot pink color! (Also available in grey, black, and orange.)
Flat Laura ready to race the Brew City Half Marathon!
I put it to the test during the Brew City Half Marathon (that ended up being a 10K because it was legitimately a SNOW STORM IN APRIL). I had no problems slipping the pack over my shoulders after stashing my phone, ID, and some cash inside the zippered pocket. During the race, I was surprised at the lack of sloshing (I anticipated lots of sloshing) and that it is actually comfortable to wear. I didn't experience any chafing issues, which I anticipated happening. I'm not someone who wears this kind of thing or even carries water with me normally, so I am really happy that this pack is enjoyable and comfortable to wear!

The bottle holder perfectly fits the 10 oz OM water bottle and it's super easy to remove and replace the water bottle in/out of the holder while running.

I always carry my keys, tissues, a gel, and some dog poop bags in my shoulder pockets.
This pack is going to be so useful when Arthur and I are doing our training runs and hiking this summer! I will be able to pack up our needed supplies and carry enough water for both of us while we are out!
