Bye, 2015!
2015 was a year of challenges. From having to reapply for my nursing program to dealing with the sudden death of my 8 1/2 year old dog and my 100 year old great-aunt, to training a new puppy and not hitting my half marathon PR. It was...a struggle. I was the driver of the Struggle Bus.
Of course, there were good things that happened as well.
I celebrated 5 years of marriage to B.
We adopted Arthur from the humane society and he's been a bright spot in my days ever since.
I became a BibRave Pro and got to meet other wonderful runners.
I got to meet more Oiselle ladies and become more involved with them.
I was readmitted int my nursing program and kicked that med surg class's ASS.
I celebrated 6 years on my unit at the hospital.
I did two trail races this year.
I completed 6 half marathons in 5 months, some of them on back to back weekends.
I PR'd the 5K and placed in my age group at a local race for the first time.
B and I traveled to Brewers Spring Training in Phoenix with his family.
Clearly the good outweighed the bad but I am so ready for this year to be over.
2016 is going to be a fantastic year, I can feel it!
Have a safe and happy New Year, all!
