One of the most common issues that runners deal with is the dreaded blister. I have dealt with lots of them, most commonly on my pinky toes. And having to wrap all your toes up in band-aids for days after a race is not comfortable or fun.
I have had to deal with blisters after every single race I've done. I've tried several different brands of socks and any product that promises to protect my feet from blisters.
They have all failed. Some of them have kept the blisters minimal, but I always end up with a little smidgen of a blister.

Until these wonderful
Wigwam Ultimax socks came into my life.
Wigwam's Ultimax socks have a patented moisture movement system that is designed the keep your feet dry through even the toughest, sweatiest runs.
Other features include:
- an ultra-lightweight design
- a heel tab that prevents the dreaded slipping
- seamless toe closure (I hate the feeling of a seam across the front of my toes!)

I wore them around The North Face Endurance Challenge finish line festival on Saturday. They are indeed very comfortable and lightweight on the foot.

I've tried a bunch of different running sock brands. I've also gotten blisters from every single race I've ever done (and of course dealt with blisters during training). So I was really curious and excited to put these to the test.
I ran The North Face Endurance Challenge half marathon through the Kettle Moraine State Forest. There was mud and wet grass and tree bark and...just NATURE. This was only the second trail race I've done, so I was out of my element. I wore these Wigwam socks for those 13.1 arduous miles. After the race, I was ready to see if they passed the blister test.
Not.One.Blister.
On either foot. Not one toe had even an indication of the possibility of a blister.
I'm sold!
Honestly, these are worth the price solely for the fact that they keep blisters at bay.
I cannot recommend these enough!
