Rollin' W/My New Homie, the Mobot

All opinions in this post are genuine and my own.

I was super excited to get the opportunity to review this water bottle/foam roller from MOBOT!

The MOBOT:
  • is BPA free
  • has heat-pressed EVA foam for rolling
  • high quality foam for a spectacular foam rolling experience
  • keeps plastic water bottles out of landfills
  • is super light (perfect for travel!)
  • comes in several colors or patterns (pictured is Juicybot)
  • has 2 sizes - 40 oz or 18 oz
  • also comes with an extra top in case you lose yours!

The MOBOT combines hydration and rolling, which are both essential parts of fitness. For anyone who has had to deal with tight muscles, knots, or joint pain (I can personally attest to its help with all three of those things, since I've got all three going on) you know that foam rolling is crazy helpful with those. And of course, anything you do is in vain unless you are properly hydrated.

I took my MOBOT to my Rock 'n Sole race yesterday and filled it about 80% of the way full, then tossed some ice cubes in there to keep the water cool (since Wisconsin weather is s unpredictable and although the weather was supposed to be cool, that can always change) and I love that the mouth of the water bottle is wide enough for rectangular ice cubes to fit in. Perfect for summer running!

Another small, yet nice feature - the straw is completely quiet. My LifeFactory water bottle squeaks when I drink, so I noticed the quietness and did an internal fist pump.

After my half marathon, I used the MOBOT to roll out my quads and calves. The quality of the foam is awesome and on par with my Trigger Point foam roller, which is about 2 feet long and quite cumbersome.

Overall, I really love this product! I think that it is especially perfect for those of us who love a good runcation and don't want a foam roller weighing down the suitcase. I also love taking this to the gym so I can foam roll RIGHT AWAY after my workout. Much more sanitary than using the communal ones!

You can order your very own MOBOT here! Check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram too!
