January Favorites
A feature that I am going to bring to the blog this month is going to be a monthly favorites post, sharing some things I used and loved during each month. I am going to try not to repeat myself and not to share things that I would obviously use every day (purse, technology, etc) unless it's something new that I've tried out.
Without further ado, here's some of my favorite things from the month of January!
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask

I use this once a week to help clear the blackheads out of my skin and to "detox" my face. It's not ridiculously expensive and you get a lot of uses out of a 1.7 ounce bottle, since not much is needed.
Christian Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm

I absolutely freaking LOVE. THIS. STUFF. I usually only buy it when I have a Sephora gift card to use, as it is a little expensive for a lip balm. But OMG, I put this on at night and in the morning my lips are so freaking soft and smooth! The only product I have ever tried that rivals this is the Vaseline Lip Therapy (usually $2-3 at drugstores) but the Creme de Rose has such a beautiful rose scent and feels so luxurious.

I don't even remember how I discovered this brand (I'm tempted to say on Instagram) but I love wearing this bangle. You can choose from a host of sayings on the website as well as the metal (yellow gold, rose gold, or silver) (and no, not real gold) and they are adjustable to fit your individual wrist. I love the simplicity of it and that it looks so pretty with my other bracelets that I wear every day.
Pura Vida Bracelets in Beach Life, Good Vibes, and Coral Gold Feather

Another brand I discovered on Instagram, these bracelets are made by artisans in Costa Rica and are just so cool. I have a ton of different ones besides the ones pictured. I wear my Hakuna Matata (sold out) and my Boston Strong ones every single day. They are made with an adjustable waxy string, so they can be adjusted to fit anyone's wrist.

PRO Compression Socks in Neon Runner

These are some of my new favorite obsessions for any workout/running related gear. Out of all the protein and health bars I've tried, these are my absolute favorite! Not only were they created in part by fellow Oiselle teammate Lauren Fleshman, but they are just about the most delicious thing on the planet and I eat at least 2 of these a day. All natural ingredients, lots of protein, and they taste so damn good!

Since I'm ramping up my running this year as well as my training (sub-2:00 half marathon, it's gonna happen!) and I find this journal, written by Lauren Fleshman and Roisin McGettigan-Dumas, so inspiring and a wonderful help as far as keeping me on track and inspired. Plus, it's autographed :) If you are looking to add a written record of your training to your regimen, I highly recommend this journal!
