Weekend Recap

Well...I had all sorts of plans for this weekend, including getting some organizing projects done (and put up on the ol' blog!) and some running, but alas, this happened...

My throat started feeling crummy at work on Thursday, but I figured it was dry at work and I was dehydrated. In the evening I was still feeling crummy, but I figured I could sleep it off. Then I woke up on Friday to this. My fever was on and off all day (ibuprofen was my bestie) and I slept most of the day. Standing upright hurt my head horribly, so I camped out on the couch and then migrated back upstairs.

Riley camped out next to me all day and kept me company. Clearly, taking naps was his favorite part of being my sick buddy.

I did carve out some time to watch the Packers kick Dallas Cowboys ASS :) and the Golden Globes. I can't say I've seen many of the movies that are being nominated, but I loved watching the Red Carpet coverage. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a sparkly dress!
