Hello to everyone out there in the internet-land.

I took my last final yesterday, and unfortunately, did not pass my Med Surg class. I got 5 more wrong on the final than I could have (I only had a 10-question cushion) so because of how my program is set up, I have to sit out a semester and apply for readmission.

I'm trying to see the silver lining in all of this. The exam was HARD and I KNOW I'm not stupid. So maybe it's for the best. It sucks that I am now a year away from graduation, but I'm hoping that I can go back, take the class again and kick ASS, then power through Level 4 and graduate and get a job.

With that, I'm going to overhaul the blog a little bit (now that I have the time), train for the 4 (!!) half marathons I signed up for next year, and hardcore declutter/overhaul some stuff in my house.

I figure it's time that I finally learned how to use photoshop and make some of my own stuff for the blog and potentially get a blog design done.

Lots of changes coming up and while I'm currently not feeling awesome emotionally or mentally, I know that I can handle whatever life throws at me. Nothing is going to stop me from continuing my nursing education and becoming an RN, so I have to take this all in stride.
