Weekend Recap

Oh my god, I got a post up on time!

(Okay, I got it up at 10 pm on Monday, but at least it's up on Monday!!!)

Not that I have much to share, but I'll give ya what I've got!

This past Saturday was Briggs and Al's Run/Walk For Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. I was the team captain for my team, Neuroscience Has All The Brains (awesome name, right?!). Unfortunately, due to the knee injury I sustained in my car accident from a week ago I was unable to run :( So I cheered my teammates on from my couch.

Did you guys know this was a thing?! Mini Ghirardelli chocolates are pretty much the most amazing thing ever. :)

I had my first exam for my Advanced Med-Surg class today. It covered Pain Management, Fluids & Electrolytes, and Acid/Base Balance. The content was difficult but I spent all weekend studying and got a 28/35! Very proud of myself.

This is what happens when Riley thinks he is being neglected for homework. I swear, sometimes he is soooooo needy! But I love him to death. (Also, he needs a haircut!)

I hope all of you had a more thrilling weekend than I did!

(Not that it's difficult to top laying on the couch and studying with ice packs on your knee.)
