Running Resources

There is a LOT of information out there when it comes to health, fitness, and running. Over the last few years, I have found some great resources to help me on my fitness and running journey. Just thought I would share them this week, since this week is all about running and race prep!

  • Tone It Up has lots of fitness content, including monthly workout calendars and a wide variety of workouts!
  • The Runiverse has a whole list of race must-haves and what they're used for!
  • Runner's World put out their 2014 Summer Shoe guide. (Always go to a running store and have your stride evaluated so that you can find the shoes that best suit your needs!)
  • Tips for developing a post-race recovery plan.
  • The 7 Healthy Habits of Effective Runners
  • For motivation, articles, and great info, I would suggest following Runner's World (@runnersworld) on Twitter or picking up the magazine!
