Friday Love List
What a rainy week! Wisconsin got some radical thunderstorms this week (Monday thru Wednesday) but that meant I didn't have to remember to water all my plants :) Which is good because my basil plant was looking a little pathetic.
This week brought lots of intense cleaning, some great days at work with my hilarious coworkers, and my summer reading pile growing. I'm perfectly okay with all of these things. :)
Anyways, here's a few things I loved this week.
This guy is starting to look forwards to runs more than I do. Bonus points if we are going for a run in between thunderstorms. That may or may not have happened twice this week.
Love this bracelet (just wish the wrap part was pink and not purple, as the Etsy seller indicated in her listing) because this is exactly how I feel about most people that seem to live just to piss me off.
Thursday marked 7 years since my family had to say goodbye to this fantastic human being. My great uncle Paul was such an amazing person. And yes, that's me in his lap. Reading a Santa book. Like a boss.
Finally got the last sunscreen from COOLA that I ordered! I love this brand! Vegan, organic, cruelty free, and great for sensitive skins. What's not to love?!
The best part of a thunderstorm is the awesome sunset that comes around afterwards. On wednesday evening, everything outside looked pink and soft. Amazing.
I'm trying to perfect my running selfie game. Also discovered on this run: I need sports sunglasses. I had to headband these to my head so they wouldn't bounce around. But they're tortoiseshell and pink and awesome. And they were $6. Can't beat that!
I made my first visit to Nordstrom Rack today to find some Havaianas sandals. I fell in love with these ones (they're rose gold, hello!) and another pair that are cheeta print with hot pink straps. I decided one nicer pair (the rose gold ones) and the cheetah pair are to wear with my swimsuit. It's time to retire my 10 year old Hollister brown flip flops, I think.
Since some of B's coworkers from Phoenix are in town, we decided to take them to Maxie's for dinner. Brisket, ribs, and wings!
I have a graduation party and a wedding shower this weekend along with some more cleaning, so I will be back to share all that on Monday.
Hope you all have a nice weekend!
