Friday Love List & #backthatazzup
I want to start by apologizing for being MIA all week. I had intended on getting my Birchbox review and my April StrideBox review up, but alas I was studying all week for the exam I took yesterday (I'm not even going into details abut it, not good) and didn't get a chance to type those entries up.
I promise that I'm trying to get into a better posting schedule. Although I can't say that I will be super consistent for the next 4 weeks. But after the semester is over and I'm on summer break, I want to be posting 3-4 times per week.
Anyways, here's a few things I loved this week.
I hosted Easter brunch on Sunday for my family. Since I made an egg bake on Christmas, I decided to try out this quiche recipe. My best friend has tried many recipes from this website and suggested I check it out. Most of the recipes use things that most of us already have in our house grocery-wise, which I prefer because I avoid the grocery store as much as possible.
Since the first quiche had spinach in it and I know how boys in my family (mostly B) feels about mushrooms, I made a second quiche using the same basic recipe but with diced bell peppers and cheddar cheese. Both dishes turned out delicious!
The Boston Marathon was held on Monday and I watched the live shots the BAA showed on their website. It was amazing to see all the racers (36,000!) and spectators. So much heart and spirit and love pouring out from everyone!
While on campus to take a quiz I missed while I was in Nashville, I spotted this bumper sticker on a car and thought it was awesome. I mean, it's only polite to brake for unicorns, right?
I was working on some homework and Riley decided to join me on the couch. I looked over and he was looking out the window like this. Because that's the most efficient way to look out the window.
This is why I should never go to Ulta alone. How adorable are these Benefit x LeSportsac makeup bags?! The larger one is going to have a home in my gym bag and the smaller one is going in my purse. All Benefit stuff is freaking cute as hell. You can find these at Ulta or on Zappos.
Linking up with Whitney to share my jam of the week!
This is the song that was used in the most recent BodyAttack release as our cool-down song. I love the lyrics and find it to be a very motivating song.
