Weekend Recap

I'm all about avoiding a case of the Mondays. However, staying home from work because you're in excruciating pain (I will save you the details, let's just say it's not pretty) isn't a fun way to start the week, either. So this post is brought to you by Thermacare Heat Wraps, Target brand acetaminophen & ibuprofen, and good ol' water.

My IWYP by Whitney Ellen shirt and coozie came in the mail on Friday! The shirt is insanely soft and how awesome is that coozie?! We are big on drink coozies in this house, so I'm happy to have another one to add to the collection!

Whitney has her next shirt up for pre-sale and you have until this Friday to order it!

The Summerfest Rock 'n Sole is the first half marathon I have this summer and it's coming up quick! My "in training" tech shirt came last week and I can't wait to sport it on my training runs!

When I worked at Starbucks, we used to stock the Naked Juices. Green Machine is one of my favorites not only because it tastes great, but because it has so much in it. There's fruits and veggies in  it and I find that drinks/shakes are a good way to get your servings in every day. I drink a protein shake most days for either breakfast or lunch (depending on if I'm working or not) and usually toss in strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, a banana, a handful of spinach, some vanilla greek yogurt, and a scoop of either chocolate or vanilla protein powder depending on what I'm feeling. SO DELICIOUS.

Obligatory Riley cameo. As much of a jerk as he can be, I love his little furry butt to death. And he's been relatively well-behaved lately (thank you, Prozac!).

I saw this posted on the Runner's World Facebook page today and I absolutely love it. I remember being terrified of running my first race, but my journey in running has had such a positive impact on my life in so many respects.

After hearing a lot about Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Powders, I decided to try one out. I have persistently oily skin and while I don't wear a lot of makeup on the regular, I would like my skin to stay matte when I do wear it. This came recommended to me by a variety of people, so why not? I will however be keeping the receipt because Hourglass products are NOT cheap!

I was asked to be a member of Baublebar Beta, which is like a focus panel for Baublebar. The first "reward", if you will, was a $25 gift code to use. I was lusting after these massive danglers (The Middleton Drops) and decided that the $25 would take a nice chunk off the price. These are from Baublebar's Anniversary Collection and I was in love with everything!

(If you want $10 off your first order from Baublebar, use this link!)

Happy Monday, friends!
