Friday Love List and #backthatazzup
I'm already amazed that we are done with January and into February already. If this winter could speed up just a little more or give us some above freezing days, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance, Mother Nature!
What makes winter worse is that now all the stores have swimwear and summer clothing out already, which makes me want summer that much more. Sometimes I think that I was never meant to live somewhere that is so cold! My blood isn't that thick!
Oh, and did I mention that Bath and Body Works has all their spring scents out now, including Beach Cabana and Oceanside?! Two places I would much rather be than in the frozen tundra!
Here's a few things I loved this week.
On Sunday at work everyone brought different kinds of dip for our organized Dip Day! (It's like Hump Day but with more dips.) Among some of the deliciousness were Nutella dip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip dip, Spinach and Artichoke dip...omg it was so good.
Riley has completed his fourth week of his Prozac regimen. So far so good! He's been sleeping more than usual, but fatigue is a common side effect of fluoxetine.
This seriously made my day! I literally LOL'd because I've totally used that line on B.
How amazing is this sign? Target sells these and they were on sale last week for $6.50 so of course I had to buy one and it is currently living on my desk. Eventually it will be hung up in my office when we do the remodel.
B worked late on Thursday night so I enjoyed breakfast for dinner. I love avocado but had never eaten it with scrambled eggs before and OMG, holy deliciousness! I might have avocado with eggs all the time from now on.
Friday accessories. Fiona the Starbucks tutu mug (seriously my most favorite mug EVER), lululemon gloves (a gift from B's mom for Christmas), my rose gold RM mini MAC (ROSE GOLD EVERYTHING!) and my Coach sunglasses. Ready to rock a day of errand running!
This is the third or so time that I've worn this polish and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rosy gold color. This came in a Birchbox and is called "Put A Pin In It". I'm loving that EVERYTHING is available in rose gold now. Sidebar: when B and I were shopping for our wedding bands 3 and 1/2 years ago, I wanted a rose gold wedding band like nobody's business. The jeweler we bought my engagement ring from looked at me like I was a crazy person and said "no one likes rose gold!" Well GUESS WHAT?! Shit's everywhere now. So clearly I was ahead of the trend. Woot.
