The Night Before Spring Semester

I have attempted to document the good, bad, and ugly that comes along with being a nursing student. As I mentioned in a post on December, I will be re-taking my maternal-child theory class this semester along with a nutrition class that I need for my BSN.

Spring semester starts tomorrow with my theory class (hereafter referred to as 106, since that's the course number for it) for THREE HOURS. That's a lot of baby-birthing talk. I better take snacks.

I really hope the class isn't like this ^.

In other slightly depressing news, my Nutrition textbook was almost $200. Which is $100 more than I paid for any nursing textbook. #ridiculous

I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that the night before the first day of class always seems the the last day of summer vacation. Goodbye, carefree days of taking naps (not that I will stop taking naps; naps are my jam) and sleeping until 10 am and feeling sane. Because nursing school drains you of logical thought and energy and hope. Maybe that's a little dramatic. But true nonetheless.

I'm hoping to keep up with posting regularly. I have many posts scheduled to go up over the next few weeks and lots of posts that are "in progress". Here's to hoping that with only two classes, this semester will be easier!
