2014 Resolutions

Every year, I take the first week of January as a new beginning. 

A blank slate.

An empty book.

I know that a lot of people don't like doing the whole "New Year's Resolution" thing. Some people say that they feel like it sets them up for failure. I like to look it not as something I absolutely 100% have to do the whole year, but more like goals that I want to achieve or work towards during the coming year. And once I accomplish something I had set out to do during that first week of the year, it brings a reminder of that blank slate feeling that is almost in the air the first week of January.
