Friday Love List
I cannot believe that it is August 1st! I feel like it was just a few weeks ago that I was finishing up spring semester and being so happy that I wouldn't have to stay up until midnight studying every night...now I'm three weeks away from going back to school for fall.
Summer is now winding down, which has made me try to take advantage of every day I have left until it's back to the books and thinking about nothing but nursing. B and I have some busy weekends coming up, including my half marathon on August 17th and an out of town wedding on August 24th. I also have jury duty next Monday and Tuesday, so it's a good thing I have a few books I still wanted to read and my new issues of Runner's World and Women's Health came in the mail today :)
The weather this weekend is supposed to be nice; hopefully my mom and I can hit up the farmer's market on Saturday and Sunday is B's family reunion, so we have enough plans to stay busy but hopefully we won't feel overbooked.
Here's a few things I loved this week.
Riley must have been having a bad dream because he was facing the other way when he fell asleep, then randomly growled and literally flipped around, landing like this...and I'm pretty sure he was still asleep. Such a goofball!
I had some nice quality time with my new lululemon
The Mat on Tuesday night at my BodyFlow class. I've never been more impressed by any yoga mat I've ever used.
(on my toes: Birchbox + Color Club's London Calling from their
Wanderlust Collection)
B has been working a community theater production (Les Miserables) last week and this week, which means I'm on my own for dinner most nights. On Wednesday night I was feeling something light to eat, so I had some fresh bing cherries, fresh mozzarella, and Oikos Vanilla greek yogurt with granola.
This is the granola that I've been eating TONS lately, either in yogurt or on its own. It is the KIND Oats and Honey with toasted coconut clusters and OMG soooooooooo good! It is the perfect combination of crunchy and sweet, so it satisfies my sweet tooth. I'm a big fan of most KIND granolas, especially the Vanilla Blueberry.
The weather in the afternoon on Thursday was perfect, so Riley and I went outside to relax. I didn't realize that Riley was going to sit on my lounge chair with me. What I didn't get a picture of was him trying to jump over the arm of the chair to get into my lap and getting stuck. My entertainment would be severely lacking without this beast, that's for sure!
Have a wonderful weekend!
