Weekend Shenanigans: Lakehouse Edition

B and I spent Thursday through yesterday at our friend's lakehouse. It was wonderful to be able to get away from home and have fun . 

B's favorite thing is to go out on the kayak. And yes, he has a GoPro strapped to his head.

I just realized that I totally look like I'm topless but I was wearing a bandeau swimsuit top on. Margaret and I had a great time getting our tan on (and I have the red back to prove it!)

We celebrated Kale's 28th birthday with a cake that had all his favorite things on it: aliens wearing cowboy hats with thunderstorm clouds and lightning.

B buried Tess in the sand!

And he really enjoyed Sunday wearing his Sunday Funday shirt.

Great food, amazing weather (we really lucked out, no clouds in the sky!), and great company!
