So I apologize in advance for the irritated tone I will probably have through this whole post. My June Glossybox was three weeks late and having just gotten it today and being completely underwhelmed by the products (and the lack of a card explaining what each of the products is, exactly) has made me decide to cancel my subscription and stick with Birchbox.

Apparently, last month there was an issue with one of the products that was supposed to be in the boxes. Glossybox switched out the product and as a result, the boxes were going to ship late (not that they ever ship early; Glossybox bills on the 7th-8th of the month but doesn't ship til the 20th-25th usually) but what made me so irritated with the whole situation was that the delay and the reason for delay wasn't communicated to the subscribers. I had to visit Glossybox's Facebook page and that is where I saw the posts about the boxes being late. I actually got billed for the month of July before I even received my June box. 

My other issue (that bothered me when I first subscribed) is that you get the e-mail that your box has shipped and don't receive it for another 7-9 days. Which in this day and age is ridiculous. The tracking is also horrendous and doesn't update for days at a time.

So unfortunately GlossyBox got the ax. I don't even think I will miss it because while I loved my first box, the two I've gotten since have been very not good (the May box was horrendous and I was actually upset that I had paid $21 for it).
