Friday Love List
Oh hello there, Friday! I have to say this is the first time since the beginning of the semester that I feel like Friday snuck up on me! I guess I can blame it on Spring Break, since I have had such a refreshing and relaxing week!
I got to see some friends (non-school friends) that I haven't seen since the semester started, ate out at some of my favorite restaurants, did some shopping, and got to sleep past 6 am!
Here's a few things I loved this week:
Just a little Coach party on my desk! I got the sunglasses from the Coach Factory Outlet a year or so ago and the purse is the Legacy Mini Mini Cross Body in Fuchsia (with silver hardware). I got that from the Factory Online Sale a few weeks ago. Retail was $128, I got it for $57! Holla!
Breakfast on Tuesday morning was a homemade egg sugar cookie (the frosting was lemony and delicious) and of course coffee in my Starbucks x Rodarte tumbler.
This picture really sucks because my iPhone is old, but my brother and I went to see Andrew McMahon (of Something Corporate & Jack's Mannequin) at Turner Hall in downtown Milwaukee on Tuesday. Easily one of the best shows of his I've ever seen. And he's coming back to Milwaukee for Summerfest!
Riley's new favorite place to lay in the morning after he eats his breakfast. Man his life is so hard.
I ordered some more twistband headbands from Birchbox on Monday and they came today! I love the colors and there's another set that is neon pink/orange/green that I'm pretty sure I need.
Ingrid of YouTube's missglamorazzi channel recommended this lip balm and I thought I would give it a try. It's Dior's Creme de Rose and it is a little expensive (okay, a lot expensive for a lip balm) at $27. I got mine from Sephora.
Then I was off to Ulta because the Maybelline Color Whispers were Buy One Get One 50% off and my Ulta has a lot more of the colors than my Target has. So I picked up One Size Fits Pearl (a nudey shimmery color) and Cherry On Top (a sheer reddish-berryish color) as well as a Maybelline Baby Lips in Quench (also has SPF 20, bonus!). The Baby Lips is basically a lip balm/chapstick type situation but it's super moisturizing.
Did I need all of these lip products? Absolutely not. But I'm trying to expand my makeup horizons since I've never been a big makeup girl (I basically wear mascara and lip gloss, if that) but watching all these YouTube makeup tutorials has inspired me!
What did you love this week? If you do a friday round-up, leave a link to your blog in the comments so I can check it out! Have a great weekend!
