Sorry for the lack of posts last week! I had quite the week at work and was busy cleaning up from our deep fried Turkey Day with our friends last Saturday (pictures to come!)

This week's questions:

1.) What is your favorite holiday season tradition?

I live near a neighborhood known in the winter as " Candy Cane Lane". This neighborhood is celebrating its 25th year of collecting money for the MACC fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.) in Milwaukee. Most of the people in the neighborhood decorate their homes with extravagant holiday light displays. It's free to drive or walk through, but there are places where you can donate money if you wish. I grew up a few blocks away and our home is very close to this area, so we walk through it every year.

2.) Do you have a certain holiday movie you watch more than others?

My two favorite holiday movies are "Love Actually" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (the original cartoon.

3.) Show us your favorite decoration or Pinterest decoration you wish you had.

4.) Favorite holiday song?

I'm going to admit that I despise most Christmas music. I do however love Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You".

5.) Favorite holiday dessert?

I love the Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks. When I used to work at Starbucks, I would buy trays of these to take to holiday parties and they were always a hit!

6.) What is on your wish list this year?

All boring stuff: clinical scrubs, an iPad for school, and gift cards to buy my textbooks with.
