Friday Love List

This past week flew by. Last weekend, we spent two days at one of our dear friend's family's lake house. It was 48 hours of fun, laughing til we couldn't breathe, eating delicious food, and of course, drinking beer and mojitos. Now that all of our planned mini trips are over, it's time to start tackling all of our yard projects, putting our kitchen back together, and preparing to rip the carpeting out of our living room. My spring break from school is coming up the second/third week of April, so I will be working extra hours that week since I won't have any homework to worry about. Oh, the life of a nursing student. :)

Kale (left) and Bryan (right) made homemade hawaiian and margherita pizzas on Sunday when we got home from the lake house. They even made their own sauce for the margherita pizza!

Crocuses popping up during the 80 degree weather we had here last week!

Yesterday, I got in a nice hour long nap after getting up really early on my day off, so Riley decided to join me.

My new favorite scent from Yankee Candle. It's the perfect combination of smelling summery and fresh, yet clean. Not overly smelly by any means.

I finally went last night to see The Hunger Games and of course, saw it in IMAX (not 3D). I was surprised how much I liked it, since I tend to not like movie adaptations of books that I love. I almost cried during 4 different points (I'm way too emotional for some movies) but overall I think that Gary Ross did an amazing job of telling the story.
