Winter Blues

In 22 days I will be off to the warm, sunny Southwest for four days of sunshine, baseball, and spending time with some amazing friends.  B and I go down to Phoenix once or twice a year, depending on his work schedule, and that little getaway, even if only for a few days, is SO good for my soul. Jetting away breaks up the monotony of winter in Wisconsin. Even though we have had quite a few sunny days and the weather has been mild up until the last few days (and by mild I mean in the 30s and 40s instead of -10) when the wind swooped in and the temperatures dropped. Needless to say, I am looking forward to the 70 degrees, sunshine, and of course, BASEBALL!

I have spent this morning doing pathophysiology homework (sounds thrilling, right?) and working on ideas for future blog posts. Lots of before/after posts coming up, since B and I have been doing so much work on our house (I can't believe we have lived there for almost a year and a half!) and so much of it needed to be updated. Our bathroom is just about done after being ripped apart for 10 months.
