I feel like I've had a very productive week or so. Bryan was in Vegas for a work convention so I hung out with a few friends on Thursday night. We headed down to Cathedral Square and enjoyed Jazz in the Park. I had a lot of fun, but how can you not have fun with Kale and Doug? The wine left something to be desired, but next time we're definitely bringing snacks. I was surprised that the music was pretty good and enjoyable. Lots of extraneous people around who didn't seem to know what was going on, but that's downtown for you. Sunday was the Brewers game, which was loads of fun but we lost 7-2. Boo.
Bryan installed iOS 4 on my iPhone and now he's obsessed with asking me "Did you make folders yet?" or "Did you figure out (yadda yadda) yet?" Um, to me it's still exactly the same only now on my home screen you can see the picture of my dog that I had my lock screen set to. Still turns on, still makes phone calls, and the wi-fi was being stupid. But I have to love his techy nerdy self...otherwise nothing around here computer or technology related would ever get fixed.
I've spent quite a chunk of time today getting wedding-related business done. Currently working on a massive e-mail to our wonderful officiant (she's my best guy friend's girlfriend's mom) about our ceremony. I finally found a whole copy of the poem I want read. Weeded through my entire wedding binder and threw out all the crap. The thing has gotten quite heavy
over the past few months with pages upon pages ripped out of magazines for ideas.
My work bag FINALLY came in the mail today. So excited! I love sporting all my CHW logo stuff because I am so insanely proud of my job. And I needed something that wasn't my purse to put all my work-related business in. I'm hoping that I can also use to double duty as a backpack since I'll probably be doing homework on my break all fall anyways.
Well I think this was boring enough. Au revoir.
